3750 Stack

We have a stack of 4 3750s 2 of the switches are running EMI code two are running SMI code, looking for a way to upgrade the IOS with these two different version.

I believe if you upgrade the master, it will then upgrade the other switches to the lastest version, as long as the other switches are configured to permit flash upgrades via tftp and as long as the image is compatible.

What are your trying to achieve, do you want all switches to run the EMI code?

That is my concern, we only want the master and one other switch to run EMI code, the other two run SMI code, which poses an issue with this configuration if the stack doesn't get powered up in order one of the switchs that is running SMI will become the master and lose the upper layer route functions that they are using (OSFP). Thanks in advance for your help.
