If I have a 3750g EMI image switch and I add 3 SMI image 3750G switches, will the IP services EMI image overwrite the SMI's?

Hi Friend,
No It will not overwrite the SMI images with the EMI. More likely in this case the IOS will have the different major version revision number and Switches with different major version numbers are incompatible and cannot exist in the same switch stack.

HTH, Please rate if it does.

Then why does this say this:
When a stack master is running the IP services image, the stack is able to run all supported protocols, including Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced IGRP (EIGRP), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). If the stack master fails and the new elected stack master is running the IP base image, these protocols will no longer run in the stack.
