4500 router ios upgrade

Good Day,

I've got an older 4500 router. I'd like to upgrade the ios so that it can function as a dhcp server and implement nat.

If possible, how do I go about doing this?

The "IOS Upgrade Planner" and "Software Advisor" on CCO should help you. The IOS you can run depends on the DRAM/Flash size of your router.
