Can LAN interface of the 575-LRE attach a switch?

I believe that 575-LRE ethernet port can be connected to any general switch because from cisco solution, it can connect to IP phones, access points etc. Please refer to this doc for more information..

Yes.
I've installed dozens, all connected to 2950's.
Try the ll profiles if you want higher performance and distances are well within limits - massively increased throughput for us.
