6506 sup1a-ge2 to sup720 ios (native) config conversion tool

I am migrating from a sup 1a(hybrid mode) to a sup720 and in a class in December I heard that there was a conversion tool for the cat config to the ios config. If this is true - can you please let me know what it is and where can I get it?

Hi, I have never heard of a conversion tool for this process. Just follow this document. It is ok, however I still had issues on my first conversion in the lab. If you have access to a 6506 in a lab, I would suggest you practice on it before trying one in production.

The links mentioned in the above messages point to the conversion tool. It worked very well. I knew what I needed to do for about 95% of everything and this cleared up the rest, plus saved a lot of typing time.
