Is it possible to put 2 different modules in the same admin group using ether channel. For example set port channel 1/1-2,3/1-2 5, after doinfg this I they

both belong to the same admin group 5. The problem is when I do set port channel 1/1-2,3/1-2 mode on I get a message vlan mismatch.

2 different modules can have ports in the same channel group, but the media type (100 Mbps, 1gig) must be the same.

The native VLAN and the trunking configuration must be the same before you make ports a channel.
