I am trying to set up an 802 ISDN router using the fast-step utility. It sets everything up but will not dial out or route to anything. It hands out DHCP addresses and I can ping its address but no dial-out. There are no other screens in the fast-step software that deal with setting routing or interesting-traffic so I assumed it set some default values. what would I look at the find my problem?

The router must see 'interesting' traffic as defined in the DIALER LIST statement in order to trigger the dial out. Check what traffic is specified here. You also need a DIALER GROUP staement under the interface pointing to the DIALER LIST.

Wouldn't fast-step set this up? Where could I find a sample cfg with a simple internet - nat setup? Thanks in Advance
