Hello..I am using an 802 ISDN router do dial-up to the Internet. Behind the router I have a VPN box that I need to get connected to the Internet so that it can connect to the head office. Can the 802 be configured to dial up to the Internet, and let the VPN box pull the DHCP address from the ISP? The VPN connection doesn't support IPSec over NAT so the device has to be able to pull a real IP Address.
If you use 802 to dialout to internet ISP, the 802 needs to pull ip address from ISP. So that way VPN device will not be able to pull public ip address from ISP.
Your only choice is to run NAT on 802.
