I have to discover one site at a time for about 20 remote sites, can someone let me know if this is the correct way to implement ... Thanks in advance.
1) to configure my seed devices (site1) in Discovery Settings and submit a discovery.
----> this will discover user information in UT
2) to add more seed devices (site2) in Discovery Settings and submit a discovery.
2.1 go to UT > Action > Discover ALL
-----> this will discover both seed devices from site1 and site2
3) repeat step 2) for new seed devices (site3) added to discover
-----> this will discover seed devices from site1, site2 and site3

Where can I find the logical file of Discovery Settings ?
I have about 300 seed devices if I can locate the physical file of Discovery Settings, I can do my cut & paste.

anisnmp.conf under /CSCOpx/etc/cwsi

anisnmp.conf contains the community strings for the network devices.
I meant the file that keeps the seed device names. Thanks.

Oh ok, then that is the Discovery.seed field in the ANIServer.properties file at the same location.

So if you have 100 sites, you have to add 100 devices to the seed's list?
