Are the ASR9922 power trays (4 total) redundant to each other in any way? Or I guess are the power trays in an N+1 configuration, and are each of the power modules within each tray in any sort of a N+1 or 2N configuration?

Hello,

For the AC power ASR 9922

AC power modules operate in N+N redundancy mode. Up to sixteen AC power modules are supported. The number of AC power modules needed depends on the configuration of the chassis (e.g. number of line cards, RPs, and FC cards installed). Use the Cisco Power Calculator (Cisco.com account required) athttp://tools.cisco.com/cpc/launch.jsp to calculate how many AC power modules are needed.

For the DC power ASR 9922

DC power modules operate in N+1 redundancy mode. Up to sixteen DC power modules are supported. The number of DC power modules needed depends on the configuration of the chassis (e.g. number of line cards, RPs, and FC cards installed). Use the Cisco Power Calculator (Cisco.com account required) athttp://tools.cisco.com/cpc/launch.jsp to calculate how many DC power modules are needed.

Hope this helps
