ARP entries timeout in MSFC?

Does anyone know how long does the arp entries remain in the arp cache of an MSFC before they get timed-out? I'm sure it's definitely not 4 min. That's the arp timeout i see when i issue a "show int vlan". But the arp entries are way longer than that. Thanks in advance..

Hello,

the default ARP timeout on the MSFC is 14400 seconds, or 4 hours. The CAM (MAC address table) default timeout is 300 seconds.

You actually might want to set the CAM agingtime to 4 hours as well, in order to avoid possible IP unicast traffic flooding...
