Hi all,
I have some connections problems with AS3745 installed in Turkey.
The line quality seems to be very bad and I cannot find the good mica modem configuration to solve this problem.
Perharps someone has the solution to configure correctly the mica modem and the solution will be helpful for me.
Thanks in advance.

When you say the line quality is very bad do mean we are seeing a lot of errors or slips on the E1? Is this an E1-PRI or E1-R2 signaling?
A bad line will see lot of modems that will retrain/ speedshift & disconnect prematurely, more the problem when trying to connect at higher speeds (higher modulation). It's worth trying a lower modulation (say v34) to see if that stabilizes the modem connections, the below modemcap needs to be configured on the c3700:
conf t
modemcap edit v34speed misc &F&D2S0=0S29=5S21=3S34=18000S40=10S10=50
line x y
modem autoconfigure type v34speed
Thanks, Mak

Hi Mark,
You are right,I see a lot of short call duration.
But hte disconnect causes are rmtlink and hostDrop but i'l sure that often it's not a client disconnect but a line problem.
And I have an other symptom. The clients have to try 5 or 6 times to establish the connection.
I'll try your solution to find if the connections are better or not and i'll give an update.
