Manager changed, then promptly forgot new enable password.
Any way to default it?
Or do I have to have it replaced?

Hello,
if you can get your hands on the config with the encrypted enable password, and if it is a level 7 encryption, you can decrypt using numerous weak password decryption tools, like this one:
Cisco weak password decryption applet

If not, I am afraid the password recovery needs to be done:

Luckily the Manager didn't manage a write mem. It came back on reboot.
Thanks
