Auth (in blue) and Locally Auth (in blue) in Assocation Tables

When I see "Assoc" in green in an AP352 association table it means the AP or repeater is assocaited with the particular element noted.

What does it mean if I see "Auth" in Blue?

How about "Locally Auth" in Blue?

Does the Blue color have a general significance?

I do not see this mentioned in any of the documentation.

Thanks

Hello Joe,

blue means error/alert/warning. I don't know how your AP is configured, but I would think that Auth or Locally Auth in blue means that authentication is not working as configured for the device (and maybe the device uses fallback authentication).

GP

Error sounds possible, but I am wondering if it is not indicating some sort of intermediate state between Associated and disconnected. I have never seen "Locally Auth" mentioned in the documentation. I thought maybe "Auth" in blue by itself meant something like the repeater or AP "recognized" the client but had no requests to send data onward..

I notice that once the client user sends data over the circuit, the "locally auth" and "auth" in blue change to "Assoc" in blue.

Thanks! for the help.

Joe
