Has anyone found (or created) an automatted way of backing up the VLAN configuration on switches that run VTP server or client and doesn't have that in the running config. (E.g. by copying the vlan.dat file).
A script would be fine, or if CiscoWorks can do it that's also good.

Hello,
I use a program called expect on a windows 2000 server to collect configurations to an tftp-server once a week. It works in both windows and UNIX(linux, FreeBSD) I have som scripts that works i you want to have.
