i am getting the following on my 6509 switch ,please explain for what i am getting it and how i can stop it.

1. %IP-3-TCP_BADCKSUM:TCP bad checksum
This message indicates that the system has received a TCP packet with a bad checksum from another device on the administrative VLAN. The packet will be dicarded.

I've had similar problems with Catalyst 4000 serie. If you have other switches connected to your 6500, you should check if you get any error messages. Furthermore I would check the counters on the interfaces connecting the switches together. Look if you have anything ode like FCS-error for example.
