Basic 6509 configuration

I have received a 6509 switch with two sup720 in the same chassis. I would like to know the following:

- The prompt I get is router> which i guess is because we have the native cisco ios. How many IP addresses are supposed to be configured on this switch. Is it one IP address per sup. And is the sup IP address a vlan with an IP of the vlan interface.

- Is it possible to use the same native vlan for each trunk link going to the edge switches.

The configuration would be for both the Supervisors and will be sychonized between the two Sup720s in the chassis.

Yes, you can use same Native VLAN for multiple trunks.
