BGP route-map behaviour

Good morning,

Got the following route-map:

route-map setmed permit 10

match ip address 2

set metric 120

route-map setmed permit 20

set metric 50

I did not define the Access-list 2 at all.

What is the behaviour for the route map?

It will mark 50 , 120 or nothing?

Any useful CCO links?

Really thanks

Matteo

If the ACL doesn't exist, all prefixes match instance 10 and therefore have a metric of 120.

Hope this helps,

Unfortunately, I could not come across any document stating this behavior.
