Hi,
Anyone know of dial probs between these two platforms? Don't know the Ascend platform but I can find out easily enough if necessary.
Dialing from the Ascend to the the 801/1600 with WIC1-B-S/T is fine but from the Cisco kit to the Ascend is not playing. On PPP and Q931/Q921 debug it appears that the far end is sending a call TERM REQ to which the Cisco router is rightly responding with an ACK. Tried both PAP and CHAP with the same result!!
Following is the debug:
Feb 22 09:18:45.223 GMT: BR0:1 LCP: I TERMREQ [Open] id 3 len 4
Feb 22 09:18:45.231 GMT: BR0:1 LCP: O TERMACK [Open] id 3 len 4

Feb 22 09:18:47.335 GMT: Cause i = 0x8090 - Normal call clearing
If anyone knows of anything I'd appreciate it, before I raise a TAC case. Note that it says normal call clearing at 09:18:47.335 GMT!!
Many Thanks

Got it -
FYI, the Ascend Max doesn't support bidirectional CHAP
