BRi & Mica modem question

Is it possible for incoming calls to a Bri interface in one router to utilise the Mica Modems located in another router.

I think that the answer is no as calls are tied to tty ports.

Please can someone confirm.

Your assumption is correct. This will not work. The modems should be in the same device.
