Hi,
the idle-timer shown with "sh isdn a" doesßnt reset in spite of traffic
over the BRI-Interface.
Config with NAT to Outside Bri1/0
interface BRI1/0
ip address negotiated
ip nat outside
encapsulation ppp
no ip route-cache
no ip mroute-cache
dialer string 0123456
dialer-group 1
no snmp trap link-status
isdn switch-type basic-net3
no cdp enable
ppp authentication chap callin
ppp chap hostname xxxxxxxx
ppp chap password xxxxxxxx
After the Upgrade from 12.0.7T to 12.2.12T the Problem ist present.
The Connection wird hard reseted after the Time.
thanks
Ronny

Hi Ronny, unluckily your Config is not complete. I think your "interesting traffic" for dial on demand - which also triggers the idle timer - is not correct. Maybe because of NAT: it is not sufficient to have an ACL with your inside network, because in this case your "negotiated address" does not trigger the timer. Test it with something like "any any".

Hi Thanks, that the right Solution, but whats wrong ??
Hier the other lines in config:
ip nat inside source list 5 interface BRI1/0 overload
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.150
access-list 1 permit 172.20.203.41
access-list 1 permit 172.20.200.19
access-list 1 permit 172.20.200.7
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.42
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.23
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.25
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.3
access-list 1 permit 172.20.10.4
access-list 1 deny any log
access-list 2 permit 172.20.32.29
access-list 2 permit 172.20.10.4
access-list 2 deny any log
access-list 5 permit any log
!
dialer dnis group 1
dialer-list 1 protocol ip list 1
dialer-list 2 protocol ip list 2
dialer-list 5 protocol ip permit
Is this OK ??
