c3750 Intervlan Routing Issues

I am currently running some tests. I have set up a test environemnt that I will go live with soon. I have set the classic Core, Distribution and Access layers for switches. I currently have trunking enabled and using the etherchannel to connect the trunks. I also set up VTP and can see all the vlans that I have created with teh sh vlan command. The problem I am having is I cannot successfully complete a ping from a workstation on vlan 1 to a workstation that is on vlan 25. On the distribution switch I have vlan defined on the interface as int vlan 25 and assigned it an ip address of 192.168.110.1 255.255.255.0. Vlan 1 on the same switch is defined as 172.16.225.4 255.255.0.0. The PC sits on the access switch port and the ip address is 192.168.110.5. The access layer vlan 1 ip address is 172.16.226.16 255.255.0.0. I can ping from the wkst on the access layer switch 192.168.110.1 and I can ping its on ip of 192.168.110.5. From the distribution and access layer switches I can ping the PC and the respective vlan 25 interfaces. I have enabled routing on the distibution layer switch. I have also set up a defualt gateway on the pc in vlan 25 to read 192.168.110.1. I have a static route on the pc in vlan 1 to point to 172.16.225.4. The pc ip in vlan 1 is 172.16.1.16 255.255.0.0.

Can anyone describe to me what the problem might be?

Frank

Check any access lists are configured and the routing for both forwardind traffic as well as reverse traffic.

Check wether any gateway is working or not and use trace route to find the traffic loss.

Configure the static routing and try to avoid the dynamic routing, just for test.
