Cable modem Distribution between two upstream ports

My customer has a ubr7223, now is necesary join two upstream ports of the same blade connected to and splitter, the idea is add more than 200 users(CM) sharing the same cable. I know that is possible, but i don`t know how cable modems registration will be distributed between those ports, which algorith does it use? or they are distributed randomly ?, I presage they are DISTRIBUTED but not BALANCED. Also I wonder how balanced they will be under the two following scenaries:

1) Both ports with same modulation and frecuency.

2) Both ports with same modulation but diferent frecuency.

And if just the ubr distributes them randomly so, Is there any way to balance more egalitarianly?

You can use the cable modem configurarion file parameter - upstream channel id to control which cable modems use which upstream port.

In DOCSIS 2.0, TDMA and S-CDMA will mix in the same physical channel but run under different logical channel. The upstream channel-id is the key point to implement the goal.
