Can I use LS1010 as Mux to send Timeslots from an E1 as VCs on an STM-1

We have PSTN C7 signalling arriving in a PoP in timeslots in TDM E1s (2 timeslots per E1). We need to get them to another location and have an STM-1 link. Can we use Circuit Emulation E1 cards and send just the signalling timeslots over VCs on the STM-1?

Also, at the other end, can we demux the signalling timeslots back to CE E1s (probably in a more concentrated form than originally - more than 2 timeslots per E1).
