Can't backup 3550 config or private-config

I am trying to do a complete backup of a 3550. I have successfully backed up the VLAN.DAT,config.text, and the c3550-x-x.. flash. However, when I try to backup the private-config.text OR the startup-config, I get "permission denied" errors. I am using Cisco's TFTP server and I am logged in using the enable pw. I have no other problems with any of my 2620s or 1710s just the 3550 and just those two files.

Hi Darren,

While consoled into the 3550 have you tried doing a "write net" or "copy start tftp"? Finally, if you can't get the files to push over you can do it manually with hyperterminal or putty. Just "show start" and paste the output to a text file.
