Can't set Multicast MAC address on Catalyst 3524XL

Dear All,

I can not set Multicast MAC address (Unicast IP) on Catalyst 3524XL running c3500XL-c3h2s-mz-120.5.2-XU.bin.

I need to direct certain Multicast MAC Address (Unicast IP) to be forwarded to trunk port only so it will not interupt other servers in the same switch.

After some investigations, I found out that after I set Multicast MAC address, the switching stop forward my packet to that port with no reason.

Have someone experience this problem?? How to slove it?? Please advise.

Best Regards,

Navasil T

PS. We are using Multicast MAC address as the gateway MAC address with unicast IP
