Has anyone tried created a stack using 3750's using a mixed software environment.
For example, STACK master = EMI, other members = SMI?
I have found two Cisco articles that contridict each other:

The system-level features supported on the stack master are supported on the entire switch stack. If the switch stack must have switches running both standard multilayer image (SMI) and enhanced multilayer image (EMI) software, we recommend that a switch running the EMI software be the stack master. EMI features are unavailable if the stack master is running the SMI software.

Cisco IOS Images Must Be Identical
The Cisco StackWise technology requires that all units in the stack run the same release of Cisco IOS Software. When the stack is first built, it is recommended that all of the stack members have the same level of software - either all SMI or all EMI. This is because later upgrades of Cisco IOS software mandate that all the switches to be upgraded to the same version as the master.
Anyone got the correct answer?
Ta,
