Cat4507: Bootvar synch. between sup.

Hello,

I have a Catalyst 4507 running with IOS version 12.1(20). I have a question concerning redundancy, since documentation isn't very clear.

At this time, redundancy is configured as follows:

redundancy

mode rpr

main-cpu

auto-sync standard

With this config. will the boot variables be synchronized or is it necessary to enable the "auto-sync bootvar"?

Yes the boot variables will be syncronized with auto-sync standard command.

On the Cat6500 this feature works differently, since the auto-sync standard doesn't synch. the boot variables. That's strange.
