Hello,
a Catalyst 6509 switch does not boot properly. Console output shows
that a cat6000-sup.5-5-1.bin image is decompressed, then following
tests are passing and the last output-line is
Boot image: bootflash:cat6000-sup.5-5-1.bin
Normally the next line would be:
"Running System Diagnostics from this Supervisor (Module 1)"
but instead the switch hangs and the LEDs on the SUP1A
are Status: green; System: red; Active: amber; PowerMgmt: amber.
So my question: Is there a recovery procedure or which
part need to be replaced?
