Cat6509 SM SFP

We are using a 6509 IOS core switch with a 24 Port SFP Module WS-X6724-SFP.

All the plugged SFPs are MM. We intend to connect some sites using SM fiber.

Are there any requirements like IOS upgrade/feature or compatibiliy issues if SM SFPs (GLC-LH-SM) are used along with the MM SFPs on the same blade.

I would believe SM vs. MM is a feature of the GBIC/SFP not the blade.
