Catalyst 2924M and Catalyst 5500 support bpdu guard feature?

Hi,

Would appreciate if anyone can advise if catalyst 2924M and catalyst 5500 supports bpdu guard? If yes, what is the IOS/CatOs version to be upgraded to?

Hi Christina,

The 5500 does support bpdu guard. I'm not certain exactly which version first supports it, but it is supported in 6.x code.

You could check the documentation for whatever code you are running to see if the feature is documented. If it's not there, then it's not supported in that code.

Forgot about the 2924M, It also supports BPDU guard. See:

From what I can tell, it's first supported in 12.0(5)WC3.
