Catalyst 6500 vs Omniswitch 7800

Hi everybody

I've to configure a conection between one Catalyst 6500 and one Alcatel's Omniswitch 7800. There are many VLAN's configured in the Omniswitch and I've several problems to establish the 802.1q trunk. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of configuration? What should I do to get connectivity?

What kind of problems do you have? Do you have problems with bringing the link up? If so, and if it is a 10/100 port, hard code speed/duplex and if it's a gig port, turn off auto negotiation

If you are having issues with trunk, let us know what exactly the issue is along with relevant configuration and a sh ver
