Catalyst 6503 / Riverstone

We are trying to connect a Riverstone with a Cat6503 via Gigabit Ethernet (LH/LX) and it doesn't work. The riverstone port brings up but the cat6503 doesn't (it has a POS card with 4 Gigabit and 4 POS).

The fiber it working good, its not a fiber problem.

Exists any parameter that we have to configure in the Riverstone or in the Cat. in order for it to get connected ?

Need more inputs on the type of card like the model nos on both the boxes.

I feel you are trying to patch up OC-3 or OC-12 ports of riverstong with the Gigabit ethernet ports available in 6503.

Pls post the exact model no of the line card and the GBIC model being used in 6503..
