We just upgraded a couple of our 6509s to 8.3.3 code and noticed a problem when issuing commands, for example show config, the switch runs very slow. Troubleshooting this problem we noticed that the switch is sending out a DNS reverse lookup for the IP address that we are telneting from to the switch. With DNS disabled running show commands works normal. We didn't have this issue with the prior ver 8.1.3. I've searched the release notes to see if there had been any changes and found nothing. I also searched the bug tool and found nothing.
