CatOS version for 6006/6009

Hi,

Can you tell me what the latest version of Catalyst OS I can put in a 6006 or 6009 chassis is? I can't find a document that definitively says whether the 8.x stream will work, or whether 6.x is the one to use.

What supervisor card are you using in your Cat6500?

Sup2 ships with atleast 128MB DRAM and can run 8.x. If you have a Sup1, you would need atleast 128MB DRAM to run 7.6(4) and later.

Thanks. It is a Sup2, but note that it is a 6000 chassis, not a 6500 one. I take it that this makes no difference?
