Hi,
On a 7500 router , If I have two Class defined within a policy and if I reserve 50% of the bandwidth to each class using the bandwidth statement, would one class benefit if I police traffic in the other class to a max of 50% of bandwidth ?
I do not have policing in place right now and if one class has more traffic then 50% to send, it seems like the other class is slower (even though it should be garanteed 50% of bandwidth and has less then that to send)....Any explanation for this ?
Thanks

when ever you configure the qos according to the percentage configured its acts on the available bandwidth. Show interface can give the bw as well as available bandwidth . So coming up with a right solution without more details is difficult, I can suggest you some links which can help in troubleshooting the problem.

actually. My problem on the slow links is large packets are delaying my slow packets because of serialization delays....LFi fixed my problem...
