CCNA re-certification

Hi,

As CCNA certification validity will be expired shortly, would like to know if the below only mentioned certification should be enough to retain my old CCNA certification ?

Domain:	CISCO
Certification:	Introducing Cisco Data Center Networking - DCICN
Exam Name:	640-911 Introducing Cisco Data Center Networking - DCICN

Kindly help me to get the information about the same and also need information on the list of other associate level certifications which can re-certify my CCNA.

Hi,

As told earlier and as per official Cisco site documentation, either pass one specialist certification with 642-XXX or pass any associate level exam to re-certify CCNA.

CCNA data center has two exam to certification and you need to pass both to ear CCNA data center and as well to re-certify CCNA.

Below statement is written in cisco site , so you can choose the exam code based on your preparation and re-certify CCNA.

CCNA Routing and Switching certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass ONE of the following before the certification expiration date:

• Pass any current Associate-level exam except for ICND1 exam, or
• Pass any current 642-XXX Professional-level or any 300-XXX Professional-level exam, or
• Pass any current 642-XXX Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams or MeetingPlace Specialist exams, Implementing Cisco TelePresence Installations (ITI) exams, Cisco Leading Virtual Classroom Instruction exams, or any 650 online exams), or
• Pass any current CCIE Written Exam, or 
• Pass the current CCDE Written Exam OR current CCDE Practical Exam, or
• Pass the Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview AND the CCAr board review to extend lower certifications
