I'm in the process of building my lab at home. Purchased AS2509-RJ Access Router from E-bay. Problem is it has a password in it , I cant get to privileged mode. I've tried following general router reset instructions does not seam to have the same modes. Looking for any help available.
Thanks In Advance.

The title of the original post mentions CCNA labs. But the question asked in the original post is about how to do password recovery on an old IOS router. It seems to me that this is not a learning related question and is quite appropriate in this community.

When I tried the link posted by BB it did not work for me. I hope this link will work better
Note that password recovery on the old 2500 is different from what most of us are used to and uses o/r to modify the config register.

[edit] After posting my link I looked again at the post by BB. I had tried the link mentioned in the post and it did not work. I had not noticed the attachment in his post. Now that I look at the attachment I find that it is the correct pdf documenting password recovery for 2500 router.
