CDP failures

Anyone got ideas about this error. It seems to be occuring on most of the ports on my Cat4006 Switch

There are no problems due to this error but it don't look good.

CDP-3-SENDFAIL:Transmit failure on port

UDLD-3-SENDFAIL:Transmit failure on port 1/1

It happens every few seconds.

You have your cdp logging statement set to debugging (7) , set it back to it's default of 4 and it will go away . this just means you don't have a device on the other end able to send and recieve cdp packets .

set logging level cdp 4 default
