changing switch type

I know we have different switch process types i.e cut through, fragment free etc, how can we change this on the switch ? and does it make much diff ?

Hi Carl,

There was an option to change that on cat1900 switches but its not avaiable on 2950 and above models.

As with the hardware and backplane and the processing capacity these switches are capable enough to handle store and forward which is default now.
