Changing universal IOS from -npe to payload encription

Hi,

I wonder how to change the universal IOS version on a router 881 from -npe ( no payload encryption ) type to standard ( payload encryption ) type ?

I have tried with Cisco  licencing team without success.  We have no restriction regarding encription software. We have accidentally got the router with -npe.

I appreciate any helpfull suggestion.

With a support contract, you can download software yourself.

Otherwise you can try open a TAC case with serial number, as problem with brand new device under standard warranty.

I think you are right.

This should be possible by just downloading the other IOS and replacing the existing one.
