I have about 70 routers worldwide that I need to get the Serial numbers off the chassis from.
How might I do this? a "show ver" only reveals the serial number for the motherboard.

Possibly the most asked question over time on this forum.
No can do via show ver.

I see.. so no answer eh?
I tried doing a search, but couldn't find any search buttons...
I know that it can be obtained via SNMP only after it's been entered.. but that doesn't help me.

I have to add to my previous post. I did a sh ver and a sh c3600 and noticed something interesting. The processor board id and the Chassis serial number are the same. Try on yours and see if they are. I would be curious to know if this is how Cisco identifies ther chassis (by processor board id).
