Cisco 2600 is not accepting commands in rommon mode

Hi,

We had an image in router 2600 which we thought of upgrading. As there is memory constraint, we deleted the image. But still the router was showing image deleted and the memory is not freed. We tryed squeeze command but it didn't work. Finally we rebooted the router and landed in rommon mode. Here in rommon mode, it is accepting only some of the commands and that too after typing the same for around 15 to 20 times. We are not able to copy the new image from tftp as the command is not accepted. Hard rebooting the router also did not work. Plz someone help.

tftpdnld is a better option for a 2600 in rommon , you must have a locally attached PC with the image on it
