Cisco 3640 access server

I have a 3640 acting as a access server with 2 channelized t-1 from the local telco in it and i get dead air on certain channels when you try to do a dial to the internet. do you think this is a modem card issue or a t-1 controller card issue.

Some more investigation is needed to find the problem. If it is related to only some channels, probably the problem is not with the T1 controller. You can use the 'show controller t1' command to check the condition of the controller. If the problem is with specific modems, try related commands to find more about what is happening with them.
