Cisco 7204 vxr 8 port PRI adapter PA-MC-8TE1+

I am attempting to install an 8 port high density PRI module in a Cisco 7204 VXR. I can't even get the card enabled on the chassis. the 7204 is an NPE 300 has 160Mbs of memory. I have tried all the minimum recommended S/W levels. Has anyone else had difficulty with this combination?

Please use type global configuration command like "Router(config)# card type t1 1". After this only, the card will show in the configuration. And also remember that until you make a port active, the AL LED will be ON. Please refer the following link for more information.
