Hello.

I need an advise, I have obtained my CompTIA Network+ certificate and thinking to have a Cisco certificate, however, I am not sure which exam should be done first. the CCENT exam ? or would it be a repetition for the Network+ or shall I go for CCNA exam?

Hi there-

I would suggest you start by checking out the link below that will provide you with an overview of Cisco's certification levels and program:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications.html

Now, to answer your question: You can never go wrong with the CCNA. Many people in the industry (including myself) started with that certification. I remember it very well as I studied hard for it but failed the exam on my first attempt :)

With that said, the CCENT is really the starting/entry point for people that are just getting into the industry. Back when I took the CCNA, there wasn't a CCENT exam so the CCNA was my only option.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
