if I have 4 interfaces on my pix, does each interface have to be in the same subnet as the network thats plugged in in, also if there is another different subnet plugged into the other port would the pix allow me to see this ?

Each interface is designed to be connected to a seperate IP network; with 4 interfaces, they are usually external, DMZ1, DMZ2, and internal.

what about the ip scheme, if each ethernet port is on another subnet, does it route in between each one ?
