Cisco Server Name??

When loading ciscoworks2000, I was never prompted for a servername. I did receive a message stating that my DNS was slow or down during the initial load of the software but the installation continued. It told me I could correct this later. I tried to http to the IP address of the machine but that will not work. How do i set up the server name so that I can get to it. Thanks

If your CW2K Server name is in DNS and both the forward and reverse lookup work fine (name to ip and ip to name) then you can ignore the DNS error message during the install. This is due to CSCdu15005. If your CW2K Server is not in DNS, then you need to connect it using the ip address as

http://:1741 via your web browser.
