Hi...

I have more than 70 Cisco routers,and they configured for TACACS username and password to access and i'm using CiscoWroks 2000, i have a problem when i'm setting up some configurations on these routers through CiscoWorks at one job, the job failed because CiscoWorks can access only the first 10 routers on the list and the others failed "Invalid TACACS username and password".

Look under Resource Manager Essentials, Inventory, Import Status, Device Attribute Errors. You should see the the devices which, for whatever reason, do not have the correct TACACS attributes.

You can change the attributes from that window and retry you job once RME is properly configured.

Thanx for your reply, i solved the problem by updating the tacacsprompts.ini file and adding these lines

[TELNET]

USERNAME_PROMPT=Username:,username:,login:,TACACS User

Name:

PASSWORD_PROMPT=Password:,password:,passwd:,TACACS

Password:

and now it's o.k, but i have a new error "Device was not attempted for update" :D
