Configuration buffer full

The router is showing a configuration buffer full error when I try to "wr m". Besides summarizing some of the access lists and upgrading the memory, is that any solution out there that could solve the problem? I heard that tuning the buffer might fix it but Cisco recommended to open up a case with them for tuning.

This has nothing to do with buffer tuning but rather with the amount of available NVRAM.

Try service compress-config in global configuration mode. This should fix the issue.
